Halliburton confirms unauthorized activity on certain systems

Aug 23 (Reuters) - Oilfield services firm Halliburton ( HAL )

on Friday confirmed an unauthorized third party had

gained access to certain of its systems.

Reuters was the first to report that the U.S. oilfield

services firm was hit by a cyber attack.
