Harfang Reports High-Grade Gold Discoveries at Menarik East Project in Quebec
Oct 17, 2024 2:23 PM

07:39 AM EDT, 10/17/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Harfang Exploration ( HRFEF ) reported Thursday multiple high-grade gold discoveries at its Menarik East property in Quebec.

The company said 16 grab samples returned assay results above 2.0 grams per tonne (g/t) gold, with the top three samples returning 44.3 g/t gold, 28.5 g/t gold and 22.5 g/t gold.

Harding added that it delineated a significant new gold trend in a previously underexplored area of the property.

"Between the newly discovered gold trend and the additional gold discoveries made in the gabbroic dyke swarm, along with the presence of gold in the ultramafics, it's quickly becoming obvious that this property is not to be underestimated," interim President and CEO Vincent Dube-Bourgeois said. "We have learned a lot about the complex geology at Menarik East and it's clear that we still have a lot to learn."
