07:34 AM EDT, 08/04/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Harley-Davidson ( HOG ) said Monday it has appointed Artie Starrs president and chief executive, effective Oct. 1.

Starrs joins the company from Topgolf Callaway, where he served as CEO of Topgolf International.

Starrs will join Harley-Davidson's ( HOG ) board upon assuming the role of CEO, while Jochen Zeitz will continue in his role as chairman, president and CEO until Oct. 1, after which he will remain a senior adviser to the company through February to facilitate a smooth transition, the company said.

The board has appointed Troy Alstead to succeed Zeitz as chairman, effective Oct. 1.

Shares of Harley-Davidson ( HOG ) rose more than 1% in recent premarket activity Monday.
