04:00 AM EDT, 06/18/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Hasbro ( HAS ) has laid off about 150 employees, or 3% of its global workforce, as part of the company's multi-year restructuring plan, according to multiple reports late Tuesday.

"We are aligning our structure with our long-term goals," Hasbro ( HAS ) spokespersons told The Wall Street Journal and Reuters.

The company had about 4,985 employees at the end of last year, according to its 2024 annual report. In December 2023, the toymaker disclosed plans to cut about 1,100 jobs on top of the 800 cuts carried out earlier in the same year, the Journal reported.

Hasbro ( HAS ) didn't immediately reply to MT Newswires' request for comment.
