HashiCorp Fiscal Q2 Swings to Profit, Revenue Rises

04:27 PM EDT, 08/29/2024 (MT Newswires) -- HashiCorp ( HCP ) reported fiscal Q2 non-GAAP earnings late Thursday of $0.08 per diluted share, compared with a loss of $0.10 a year earlier.

Mean analyst survey by Capital IQ was for a break even.

Revenue in the quarter ended July 31 rose to $165.1 million from $143.2 million a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $157.2 million.

IBM (IBM) agreed to buy HashiCorp ( HCP ) for $6.4 billion in cash, or $35 a share, or an enterprise value of $6.4 billion, and HashiCopr's shareholders approved the transaction in July.

The deal is expected to close by the end of 2024, according to HashiCorp ( HCP ).
