Indian Hotels' revenues for the second quarter has jumped significantly, compared to the first quarter of this year, MD & CEO Puneet Chhatwal said in an interview with CNBCTV18.

Chhatwal said that hygiene will now become an important consideration for guests, just like security became important post terror attacks.

He was hopeful of bookings picking up as the wedding season gets underway.

Chhatwal said IHL's Ginger hotel chain has clocked an occupancy rate in excess of 50 percent in September.
