HCA Healthcare Q3 Adjusted Earnings, Revenue Rise; 2025 Guidance Lifted

07:22 AM EDT, 10/24/2025 (MT Newswires) -- HCA Healthcare ( HCA ) reported Q3 adjusted earnings Friday of $6.96 per diluted share, up from $4.90 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected $5.72.

Revenue for the quarter ended Sept. 30 was $19.16 billion, compared with $17.49 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $18.57 billion.

For 2025, the company said it now expects adjusted EPS of $27 to $28, compared with its prior outlook of $25.50 to $27.

Analysts polled by FactSet expect $26.33.

Revenue for the year is now projected to be between $75 billion and $76.50 billion, compared with prior guidance of between $74 billion and $76 billion, HCA Healthcare ( HCA ) said.

Analysts surveyed by FactSet expect $75 billion.

The company's shares were up 4.2% in recent Friday premarket activity.
