09:14 AM EDT, 07/17/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Helix Energy Solutions Group ( HLX ) said Thursday it has been chosen as a service provider for Danish power cables manufacturer NKT's T3600 Subsea Trencher under a four-year agreement.

The agreement includes installation, offshore operations, engineering and maintenance of the T3600 subsea trencher, which will be deployed on a Helix-provided support vessel, Helix Energy said.

The agreement includes an initial commitment of 800 days of vessel operations over four years, commencing in 2027, with options for extension, the company said.
