05:30 PM EDT, 08/27/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Helix Energy Solutions ( HLX ) said Tuesday it was awarded a new three-year vessel charter and service contracts worth roughly $786 million from Petroleo Brasileiro (PBR), better known as Petrobras.

The contracts are for its well intervention vessels Siem Helix 1 and Siem Helix 2 working offshore Brazil, the firm said. Each contract includes options for additional three years.

Shares of Helix were up more than 2% in after-hours activity.
