04:10 AM EDT, 08/21/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Helix Energy Solutions ( HLX ) said late Wednesday it has been awarded a multi-year contract by a "major operator" for production enhancement and well abandonment services in the Gulf of Mexico, starting in 2026.

The company said the deal includes a minimum commitment of vessel utilization over three years.
