Hemlo Explorers Appoints Ken Lapierre as Chief Executive Officer, Changes Name to Rocky Shore Gold

11:49 AM EST, 02/03/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Hemlo Explorers ( CNOBF ) on Monday said it appointed Ken Lapierre as Chief Executive Officer. He takes over from Brian Howlett, who has been appointed board chair, and is changing its name to Rocky Shore Gold.

Lapierre is a professional geologist and financier with over 40 years in the precious and base metals business. He previously was the founder of Rockcliff Metals, holding various senior roles, including President, CEO and VP of Exploration. Rockcliff was sold to Hudbay Minerals (HBM.TO).

The company said it will begin trading on the Canadian Securities Exchange under its new name and new trading symbol RSG on Feb. 10.

Hemlo Explorers ( CNOBF ) was last seen up $0.01 to $0.07 on the Canadian Securities Exchange.
