07:03 AM EDT, 03/26/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Herbalife ( HLF ) said Thursday that it has agreed to acquire certain assets from UK-based supplements company Bioniq for $55 million.

The consideration will be paid over five years, including an initial $10 million payment at closing, plus up to $95 million in contingent payments based on performance, Herbalife ( HLF ) said.

The deal is slated to be completed in Q2, the company said.

Herbalife ( HLF ) said that as part of the deal, it has secured a call option to acquire Bioniq LAB, a separate platform focused on small molecules and peptides.

Herbalife ( HLF ) said its independent distributors in the US and certain European countries will start offering Bioniq's personalized nutritional supplements later this year, with expansion to other markets in the future.
