Here's why caustic soda prices have gone up 22% in a month

Caustic soda prices are up 22 percent on a month-on-month (MoM) basis at Rs 28 per kilogram (kg). These prices fell substantially during COVID-19 because of lower demand. Trends suggest that the demand uptick in textile and paper industry has led to rise in caustic soda prices.
