10:14 AM EDT, 06/25/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Heritage Financial ( HFWA ) said Tuesday it has named Bryan McDonald as president of the company, and as chief executive and president of Heritage Bank, starting July 1.

McDonald will succeed Jeffrey Deuel, who will remain Heritage Financial's ( HFWA ) CEO until May 6, 2025, after which he will take on an advisory role, according to Heritage Financial ( HFWA ).

McDonald has served as Heritage Bank's president and operations chief since 2018, the company said.
