Hershey Fiscal Q2 Adjusted Earnings Decrease, Net Sales Increase; Lowers 2025 Adjusted EPS Guidance

06:59 AM EDT, 07/30/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Hershey (HSY) reported fiscal Q2 adjusted earnings Wednesday of $1.21 per share, down from $1.27 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected $0.99 per share.

Net sales for the quarter ended June 29 were $2.61 billion, up from $2.07 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $2.52 billion.

Hershey said it now projects fiscal 2025 adjusted earnings per share of between $5.81 and $6 per diluted share. That compares with $6 to $6.18 previously. Analysts surveyed by FactSet expect $5.91 per share.

Net sales for the current fiscal year are expected to rise at least 2%, in line with a prior outlook.

Shares of the company were down 0.5% in recent Wednesday premarket activity.
