Hertz Energy Up 18% As Moves to Buy Mineral Claim in Nunavut

10:16 AM EDT, 05/24/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Hertz Energy ( HZLIF ) was at last look up 18% on news it has entered into a sale agreement with vendor Mike Magrum, to acquire 100% interest in mineral claim 102722 in Nunavut, Canada, for $2,500 in cash and up to 400,000 shares when certain conditions are met.

A statement noted the mineral claim is at the core of the Cominco uranium property, consisting of nine blocks of 16.37 acres for a total of 146 acres and "has been held in good standing" for several years. It also noted the claim block is the area of "positive" uranium drilling by Cominco in the mid 1970s.

Hertz is up 18% to $0.13 on the Canadian Stock Exchange.
