Hertz Global Swings to Q2 Adjusted Net Loss, Revenue Falls

09:11 AM EDT, 08/01/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Hertz Global Holdings ( HTZ ) reported a Q2 adjusted net loss Thursday of $1.44 per diluted share, swinging from earnings of $0.72 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected a normalized loss of $1.20.

Revenue for the quarter ended June 30 was $2.35 billion, compared with $2.44 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $2.46 billion.

Hertz shares were down 3.9% in recent Thursday premarket activity.
