08:38 AM EDT, 10/03/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Hesai Group ( HSAI ) said Friday that it has produced its one-millionth lidar unit this year, becoming the first lidar company to achieve that milestone in annual production.

The company said that as of Q2, it had delivered more than 1.4 million lidar units cumulatively across the robotics and advanced driver assistance systems markets.

Hesai ( HSAI ) said its planned production capacity for this year is two million units, with annual deliveries projected between 1.2 and 1.5 million units.
