08:16 AM EST, 12/06/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Hesai Technology (HSAI) said Friday it signed an exclusive lidar production design contract with Great Wall Motor that covers several models across Great Wall Motor's two brands.

The models will feature Hesai's ( HSAI ) lidar sensor ATX, which is scheduled for mass production starting in 2025, the company said. Additional Great Wall Motor models are expected to integrate Hesai ( HSAI ) lidar over the next two years, Hesai ( HSAI ) said.

Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.

HSAI shares were up 3% in recent premarket activity.
