01:02 PM EDT, 06/25/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Hewlett Packard Enterprise ( HPE ) and KDDI said Wednesday they are collaborating to open the Osaka Sakai data center by early 2026.
The center is intended to support startups and enterprises with Nvidia ( NVDA ) infrastructure for developing AI applications and training large language models, the companies said.
Under the partnership, the companies will deploy a rack-scale system featuring Nvidia's ( NVDA ) GB200 NVL72 platform built by Hewlett Packard ( HPE ), based on the latest Blackwell architecture.
The companies said they will jointly promote services delivered from the data center. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Shares of Hewlett Packard Enterprise ( HPE ) were up 1.5% in recent trading, while Nvidia ( NVDA ) was up 3.3%.
