Hewlett Packard Enterprise Q1 non-GAAP EPS Trails Consensus, Issues Guidance; Share Down After-Hours

04:41 PM EST, 03/06/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Hewlett Packard Enterprise ( HPE ) late Thursday reported Q1 non-GAAP net income of $0.49 per diluted share, compared with $0.48 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by FactSet, on average, expected $0.50.

Revenue for the quarter ended Jan. 31 was $7.85 billion, compared with $6.76 billion a year earlier.

Analysts expected $7.81 billion.

For Q2, the company is projecting non-GAAP EPS of $0.28 to $0.34 on $7.2 billion and $7.6 billion in revenue.

Analysts are looking for $0.50 and $7.92 billion, respectively.

For fiscal 2025, the company is expecting non-GAAP EPS of $1.70 to $1.90, with revenue growing 7% to 11%. Analyst expected $2.13 per share.

The firm kept its dividend at $0.13 per share, payable April 18 to shareholders of record on March 21.

The shares were down over 15% in after-hours session.
