09:13 AM EDT, 07/11/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Hewlett Packard Enterprise ( HPE ) said Thursday it will build a new supercomputer for Japan's National Institute of Advanced Science and Technology, incorporating Nvidia ( NVDA ) technology, to support artificial intelligence research and development.

The company said the system, known as ABCI 3.0, will be available as a cloud service to support AI workloads across various sectors, with an anticipated performance of up to 6.2 exaflops.
