08:35 AM EDT, 06/28/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Hewlett Packard Enterprise's ( HPE ) acquisition of Juniper Networks ( JNPR ) is under review by the European Commission, which has set a provisional deadline of Aug. 1 to make its decision, according to a filing posted on the Commission's website.

The companies announced the planned $14 billion merger in January.
