10:39 AM EDT, 08/15/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Hewlett Packard Enterprise ( HPE ) said Thursday it agreed to acquire Morpheus Data to enhance its HPE GreenLake cloud platform with advanced hybrid cloud management and automation capabilities.

Morpheus' technology will be combined with HPE GreenLake's cloud and HPE's private cloud portfolio, and will still be provided as standalone software.

Hewlett Packard ( HPE ) said the deal is anticipated to be finalized by the end of its fiscal Q4.

Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.

Hewlett Packard ( HPE ) shares rose more than 3% in early trading.
