12:09 PM EDT, 07/16/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Highland Critical Minerals (HLND.CN) on Wednesday said it completed the acquisition of mineral claims in the Kivalliq Region of Nunavut by the acquisition a holding company that is the registered owner of the Sy Property for $187,500.

Under the deal, the company issued 150,000 shares to the sole shareholder of the company that owned the Sy Property priced at $1.25 apiece to take a 100% stake in the property.

The company said the Sy Property consists of four contiguous mineral claims totaling 3,345 hectares. The region has been underexplored for gold and base metals.

Shares of the company were last seen unchanged at $1.10 on the Canadian Securities Exchange.
