04:40 PM EDT, 05/02/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Hologic ( HOLX ) reported fiscal Q2 non-GAAP earnings late Thursday of $1.03 per diluted share, down from $1.06 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $0.98.

Revenue for the quarter ended March 30 was $1.02 billion, down from $1.03 billion a year earlier. Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $1.00 billion.

For fiscal Q3, the company said it expects non-GAAP EPS of $0.98 to $1.05 on revenue of $992.5 million to $1.01 billion. Analysts polled by Capital IQ are looking for EPS of $1.02 and revenue of $1.01 billion.

For fiscal 2024, Hologic ( HOLX ) now expects non-GAAP EPS of $4.02 to $4.12, a narrower range than its previous estimate of $3.97 to $4.12. Analyst in a Capital IQ poll expect $4.03.

It now expects fiscal 2024 revenue of $4 billion to $4.05 billion, compared with its previous guidance of $3.99 billion to $4.07 billion. Analysts in a Capital IQ survey expect $4.03 billion.

Shares were gaining 3% in after-hours activity.
