09:04 AM EDT, 09/04/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Home Depot ( HD ) said Thursday that it and its unit, SRS Distribution, had completed the acquisition of GMS (GMS) for a total enterprise value of $5.5 billion, including net debt.

The deal resulted in GMS becoming a direct unit of SRS and an indirect unit of Home Depot ( HD ), the home improvement company said.

The combination of GMS and SRS will expand the fulfillment and service options for residential and commercial professional contractors, Home Depot ( HD ) said.
