HomeTrust Bancshares to Sell Two Tennessee Branches to Apex Bank

09:52 AM EST, 01/28/2025 (MT Newswires) -- HomeTrust Bancshares ( HTBI ) has entered into a definitive agreement to sell its two Knoxville, Tennessee, branches to Apex Bank, the companies said Tuesday.

Under the agreement, Apex will acquire the branch locations, related fixed assets, and nearly all customer deposit accounts, currently estimated at $42 million, while HomeTrust will retain the branches' loan accounts.

The transaction, pending customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals, is expected to close in Q2, the banks said.
