10:07 AM EDT, 08/20/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Honda Motor ( HMC ) and Helm.ai have signed a multiyear joint development agreement to develop Honda's ( HMC ) self-driving capabilities, including its Navigate on Autopilot platform, the autonomous driving software developer said Wednesday.

The partnership will focus on Advanced Driver Assistance Systems for Honda's ( HMC ) consumer cars, Helm.ai said.

Under the partnership, Helm.ai's suite of products, including its perception stack, vision-based real-time path prediction AI, and generative simulation model, will be adapted to meet Honda's ( HMC ) deployment specifications, Helm.ai said.

Shares of Honda Motor ( HMC ) were up more than 1% in recent trading Wednesday.
