02:54 PM EST, 01/07/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Amazon.com's ( AMZN ) Amazon Web Services said Tuesday it is working with Honda Motor ( HMC ) to help the automaker build software-defined vehicles.

The collaboration involves leveraging Amazon Web Services cloud computing, generative AI, and IoT capabilities along with Honda's ( HMC ) data lake to accelerate the development of digitally-enabled, cloud-connected vehicles.

Honda's ( HMC ) vehicle development platform, digital proving ground, is built on AWS and supports the creation of software-defined vehicle capabilities and new mobility solutions, according to Amazon Web Services.

Terms of the collaboration weren't disclosed.
