Honda Motor Recalls Over 259,000 Vehicles in US for Faulty Brake Pedals

06:17 AM EDT, 06/18/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Honda Motor ( HMC ) is recalling 259,033 vehicles in the US due to a brake pedal issue that may shift out of place and increase crash risk, the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said on Wednesday.

The agency said the affected models include certain 2021-2025 Acura TLX, 2023-2025 Acura MDX, and 2023-2025 Honda Pilot vehicles.

Dealers will inspect and replace the brake pedal assembly free of charge, the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration added.
