02:39 PM EDT, 04/04/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Honda Motor ( HMC ) subsidiary Honda R&D said Friday it plans to test its pressure water electrolysis system at the International Space Station in partnership with Sierra Space and Tec-Masters.

The project is part of its vision for a regenerative fuel cell system that could provide energy storage capable of supporting human life on the lunar surface, according to the company.
