Honeywell Acquires Li-ion Tamer Business From Nexceris

08:28 AM EDT, 07/01/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Honeywell ( HON ) said Tuesday it has acquired Nexceris' Li-ion Tamer business, an off-gas detection service for detecting thermal runaway in lithium-ion batteries.

Financial terms were not disclosed, but Honeywell ( HON ) said the acquisition is anticipated to be immediately accretive to its financials.

The company said it will integrate the Li-ion Tamer product portfolio into its building automation segment.
