08:58 AM EDT, 10/21/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Honeywell International ( HON ) and Alphabet's (GOOG, GOOGL) Google Cloud said Monday that they will collaborate to connect artificial intelligence tools to assets, people, and processes, bringing autonomous operations for the industrial sector.

This partnership brings together Gemini on Vertex AI, Google Cloud's AI platform, with Honeywell Forge, an Internet of Things platform for industrials, the parties said.

Beginning next year, Honeywell's ( HON ) industrial-sector customers will have access to tools that reduce maintenance costs, increase productivity, and improve employee skills, the parties said.
