09:37 AM EDT, 09/04/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Honeywell International ( HON ) said Wednesday that it has completed its acquisition of CAES Systems Holdings from private equity firm Advent International for about $1.9 billion in cash.

Honeywell ( HON ) said the acquisition will expand its defense and space portfolio and is expected to generate "favorable tailwinds" for its Aerospace Technologies business.
