06:31 AM EDT, 10/24/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Honeywell International ( HON ) reported Q3 adjusted earnings Thursday of $2.58 per diluted share, up from $2.38 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $2.50.

Net sales for the quarter ended Sept. 30 were $9.73 billion, up from $9.21 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $9.9 billion.

Honeywell ( HON ) said it now expects fiscal 2024 adjusted EPS of $10.15 to $10.25, compared with its prior outlook of $10.05 to $10.25. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expect $10.10.

Sales for the current year are now projected to be from $38.6 billion to $38.8 billion, compared with $39.1 billion to $39.7 billion previously, the company said. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expect $39.13 billion.

Shares of the company were down 2.4% in recent Thursday premarket activity.
