Honeywell International Signs Deal With Dangote to Supply Services for Petroleum Capacity Expansion in Nigeria

12:05 PM EST, 11/25/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Honeywell International ( HON ) has entered into a partnership with Dangote Group to support the Nigerian company's expansion of its petroleum refinery to 1.4 million barrels per day by 2028, the companies said in separate statements Tuesday.

Under the agreement, Honeywell ( HON ) will supply the refinery with catalysts, equipment, and technologies to process a wider range of crude grades, the companies said.

Dangote will also license Honeywell's ( HON ) Oleflex technology to boost its polypropylene capacity to 2.4 million metric tons per annum, they added.

Financial terms of the agreement weren't disclosed. Reuters, citing a source familiar with the matter, reported that the deal could be valued at over $250 million.
