10:57 AM EDT, 08/29/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Honeywell International ( HON ) said Thursday it will collaborate with Cisco Systems ( CSCO ) on an artificial intelligence-backed service that "automatically adapts" building systems to varying usage levels, lowering energy consumption.

The collaboration will combine Honeywell Forge Sustainability+ for Buildings and Cisco Spaces to use AI and machine learning in monitoring assets to adjust buildings' heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems based on real-time occupancy, the company said.

Financial terms of the partnership were not disclosed.
