07:43 AM EDT, 05/28/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Honeywell International ( HON ) said Wednesday its board has appointed Marc Steinberg as an independent director and audit committee member, effective May 31, as part of a cooperation deal with Elliott Investment Management.

Steinberg, a partner at Elliott, currently serves on the boards of Etsy (ETSY), Pinterest (PINS), Syneos Health, and Nielsen Holdings, Honeywell ( HON ) said.

Under the agreement, Honeywell ( HON ) said it agreed to increase the size of the board by one and include Steinberg in the slate of nominees for election at its 2026 annual meeting.
