05:15 PM EST, 12/02/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Honeywell International ( HON ) said late Monday it has agreed to deliver advanced aviation technology for Bombardier aircraft, with potential revenue of up to $17 billion over the partnership's life, and lowered its full-year 2024 guidance.

The collaboration includes joint research and development focused on Honeywell Anthem avionics, engine selection and satellite communications technologies for Bombardier's current and future aircraft, Honeywell ( HON ) said.

Considering the near-term impact of this agreement, Honeywell ( HON ) cut its 2024 adjusted earnings per share guidance to between $9.68 and $9.78 from its previous guidance of $10.15 to $10.25. It now expects sales for the year of $38.2 billion to $38.4 billion, versus its prior outlook of $38.6 billion to $38.8 billion.

For Q4, Honeywell ( HON ) revised its adjusted EPS guidance to between $2.26 and $2.36 from a range of $2.73 to $2.83 previously. Sales for the quarter are now projected at $9.8 billion to $10 billion, compared with the previous estimate of $10.2 billion to $10.4 billion.

Meanwhile, all legacy pending litigation between the two companies has been settled, Honeywell ( HON ) said.

Shares of Honeywell ( HON ) were down about 3% in recent after-hours activity.
