July 10 (Reuters) - Industrial giant Honeywell ( HON )
will buy Air Products' liquefied natural-gas process
technology and equipment business for $1.8 billion in cash, the
Wall Street Journal reported on Wednesday, citing people
familiar with the matter.
The deal, which is set to be announced on Wednesday, would
help Honeywell ( HON ) expand its portfolio to add the design and
manufacturing of LNG heat exchangers and related equipment, the
report added.
Honeywell ( HON ) and Air Products did not immediately respond to
Reuters requests for comment.
