08:35 AM EDT, 07/29/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Hope Bancorp ( HOPE ) reported Q2 non-GAAP earnings Monday of $0.22 per diluted share, down from $0.32 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $0.22.

Revenue for the quarter ended June 30, expressed as the sum of net interest income and total noninterest income, was $116.9 million, down from $147.7 million a year earlier.

Four analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $121.4 million.

Separately, the company said its board maintained its quarterly dividend at $0.14 per share, payable around Aug. 22 to shareholders of record as of Aug. 8.

Hope Bancorp ( HOPE ) shares were 2.4% lower in recent Monday premarket activity.
