01:56 PM EDT, 08/12/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Horizon Petroleum (HPL.V) shares rallied 15.4% to the highest in 3-1/2 years on Wednesday, after the company said re-entry operations started at its Lachowice 7 well site in Poland following the installation of a rig.

The workover program will confirm the long-term production flow potential of Lachowice, a statement said.

Stimulation and production testing are expected to begin later this month, and continue into early September.

Horizon Petroleum shares were last seen up C$0.04 at C$0.30, the highest since May 2023, on the TSX Venture Exchange.
