Horizon Technology Finance Forms $100 Million Joint Venture With CR Financial

06:47 AM EDT, 03/19/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Horizon Technology Finance ( HRZN ) said Thursday that it is forming a joint venture with CR Financial Holdings, the parent company of Roth Capital Partners, to provide growth capital financing to US-based small and micro-cap public companies.

The company said the partners are committing an initial $100 million and may leverage the fund with warehouse credit facilities.

Governance will be shared equally between Horizon and CR Financial through a four-person board and a four-person investment committee, it added.

Monroe Capital, a private credit firm with $24 billion in assets under management, will support larger investments, Horizon Technology Finance ( HRZN ) said.
