06:31 AM EDT, 05/29/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Hormel Foods ( HRL ) reported fiscal Q2 non-GAAP earnings Thursday of $0.35 per diluted share, down from $0.38 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected $0.34.

Net sales for the quarter ended April 27 were about $2.9 billion, compared with $2.89 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $2.90 billion.

The company said it now expects fiscal 2025 adjusted EPS of $1.58 to $1.68 on sales of $12 billion to $12.2 billion. Hormel Foods ( HRL ) previously projected adjusted EPS at $1.58 to $1.72 on sales of $11.9 billion to $12.2 billion.

Analysts are looking for $1.60 and $12.13 billion, respectively.
