07:11 AM EDT, 06/23/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Hormel Foods ( HRL ) said Monday that it has named John Ghingo, executive vice-president for retail, as president and Jeffrey M. Ettinger, a board member, as interim chief executive, effective July 14.

Ghingo, succeeding Jim Snee, will also join Hormel's board, the company said.

Ettinger, who worked at Hormel for nearly three decades, will serve for a period of 15 months, the company said.
