05:19 PM EDT, 07/31/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Host Hotels & Resorts ( HST ) reported Q2 adjusted funds from operations Wednesday of $0.57 per diluted share, up from $0.53 a year earlier.
Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $0.43.
Revenue for the quarter ended June 30 was $1.47 billion, up from $1.39 billion a year earlier.
Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $1.47 billion.
The company said it now expects full-year 2024 adjusted FFO per diluted share between $1.90 and $1.98. The previous guidance was between $1.97 and $2.05.
Analysts polled by Capital IQ expect $1.61.
Total revenue is expected between $5.62 billion and $5.73 billion. Analysts expect $5.66 billion.
Separately, the company said it acquired the fee simple interest in 1 Hotel Central Park in New York for about $265 million in cash.
Also, Host Hotels said it expects to complete the previously disclosed acquisition of the fee simple interest in the Ritz-Carlton O'ahu, Turtle Bay, on Wednesday.
