Houston American Energy Signs $1.2 Million Share Purchase Agreement; Shares Down 30%

11:31 AM EDT, 06/24/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Houston American Energy ( HUSA ) said Tuesday it signed an agreement with an institutional investor for the sale of 81,629 common shares at $14.80 apiece, totaling about $1.2 million, through a registered direct offering.

The company said the offering is expected to close on or about Wednesday and net proceeds of about $1 million will be used for general corporate purposes.

Shares of Houston American Energy ( HUSA ) were down 30% in recent Tuesday trading.
