01:43 PM EDT, 08/01/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Howard Hughes Holdings ( HHH ) said Thursday it completed the spinoff of its seaport entertainment division into a separate public company.

Seaport Entertainment Group's stock started regular trading on NYSE American under the ticker SEG on Thursday.

Howard Hughes said its shareholders received one Seaport Entertainment share for every nine shares held in the company as of Monday.

Shares of Howard Hughes fell 3.3%, while Seaport Entertainment dropped past 14% in recent trading.
