Howard Hughes Holdings to Name Scot Sellers Chairman of the Board at Upcoming Annual Meeting

10:02 AM EDT, 04/04/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Howard Hughes Holdings ( HHH ) said Thursday that Scot Sellers is to be appointed chairman of the company's board at its upcoming annual meeting.

Sellers will succeed Bill Ackman, founder and chief executive of Pershing Square Capital Management, who is retiring from the company's board.

Ben Hakim from Pershing Square has been nominated to replace Ackman on the Howard Hughes Holdings' ( HHH ) board. Pershing Square aims to remain a major, long-term shareholder of the company, Howard Hughes Holdings ( HHH ) said.

Sellers has been on Howard Hughes Holdings' ( HHH ) board since the beginning. He also serves on The Irvine Company's board and chairs Maui Land & Pineapple Company's board, the company said.
